Sullivan striker transfer update
Classic Sully smoke and mirrors.

C&P
Finally, just to update you all on transfers, we may look to bring another forward in. We’re working on a very complicated deal at the moment, which may or may not come off, so we will have to see how that progresses.

We have always said we didn’t plan to do any business in this window so if nothing more materialises we will be more than happy with our squad.

So Yilmaz is at Galatasary

Emenike is at their arch rivals Fenebace.

Is it too far fetched a conspiracy theory to think that our owners might be playing one against the other by leaking the interest to the media to get the best deal?

Antley?

Re: Sullivan striker transfer update
Apparently Liverpool and another club are also interested, maybe the club thought that the none too unattractive Ms Brady would sway those womanising Turks better than Sullivan dressed like a Russian oligarch would?

Maybe...

This is the guy I think we should go for:

Might have to wait until the summer though.

Ideal way for her to avoid showing up at SAB and face questions over her veto bullshit...just pretend she's somewhere else.

Re: Sullivan striker transfer update
She's supposed to be at the SAB tomorrow night.

This would have Sullivan all over it, surely? He's the main recruitment man.

I wonder if she will get her knickers off to seal the deal.

I don't believe for one minute that Brady is in Turkey. If anyone were going to do that trip, it'd be sully.

Ighalo was the player he was asked about and refused to comment on. Michy has also been linked recently.

Re: Sullivan striker transfer update
To be honest unless there is some offer for Jelavic which was rumoured recently I am not even sure we need another loan striker.
I'd be keeping all our attention on this '£20m striker' for the summer that Sullivan reckons they are looking at.
At a guess I am thinking the first option will be Ighalo at Watford.
Similar to Sahko who I think is the player who best suits our squad.

Re: Sullivan striker transfer update
A 15 goal striker is a superb asset in this league - better than 1 in 3. It's what else they can bring to the table as well that's important. Sakho works defences out of position to create space so he's really effective even when not banging them in.

20 goal strikers are stolidly rare - better than a goal every 2 games IF they play every week, and that ratio gets even smaller afterwards. The likes of aguero are a rare breed

ludo

care to identify which were panic buys and injury covers then? oh and btw, just because a club buys a player in january that they may not have been planning to it doesnt mean he wasnt on their radar long term. much like us and byram, for instance.

remind us all again who january is such a good time for a bargain mate?? ;-)

In Bilic we trust.... If Slav wants Yilmaz then let's do it. He's hardly let us down so far as he? Al la Payet?

We've moved away from the cunty days of Allardyce and Curtis dog shit
